Choosing a Towable Set
Two constraints usually decide it. The first is the tow vehicle: a mobile generator is only mobile if you have something rated to pull it and somewhere legal to park it, and the gross weight climbs quickly with output and fuel capacity. The second is the load — size on the largest motor starting load, not on the sum of running loads, because motor inrush is what makes an undersized set stall and trip.
